I was recently asked to not only create a portrait of a dear little Sheltie but also to photograph him so that his dad could choose the photo he wanted me to work from. I was very happy to do this as it is so lovely to meet the person who is commissioning the portrait and the beautiful pet I am being asked to paint. Here is his portrait- he was very enjoyable to paint with all his gorgeous hair :)
